When I was seven-years-old I recalled a past life as a different little girl, slightly older, suffering the plights of the Dust Bowl. Likely a farmer’s daughter, I could suddenly recount an open field, dry heat and large billows of sand hitting my face. These images soon escaped my memory. They evaporated as quick as they came, like trying to recall a dream, but their impression remained.
